Activities of the symposium will be held at the: Marriott Pavilion Hotel One Broadway St. Louis, MO 63102 USA 314.421.1776 or 800.228.9290 The hotel is located at the intersection of Broadway and Market Streets in downtown St. Louis, near the Gateway Arch and other points of interest. A ride from the airport takes approximately 20-25 minutes. Lodging reservations are the responsibility of the registrant. When making hotel reservations, be sure to state that you are with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and request SIGUCCS 2000 rates. The last day for conference rate reservations is February 28, 2000.
Prices are $115 per room (single/double/triple). Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 noon.

Getting to the Marriott |

| Airline: Special arrangements have NOT been made for air travel to St. Louis.
Metrolink: The light rail system departs from both the Main and the East Terminals of St. Louis/Lambert International Airport. A one way fare from the airport is $3.00. The return fare or any one-way travel except that starting at the airport is $1.25. Metrolink has a Free Ride Zone from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. between Union Station and Laclede's Landing stations. Two Metrolink stops (Busch Stadium and 8th & Pine) are each within two blocks of the Marriott Pavilion Hotel. Click here for a printable map.
Taxi: You can catch a taxi from the lower level of the airport. The approximate fare to the Marriott Pavilion is $30 - $35 for one passenger one way. Shuttle: A shuttle is available from the airport to downtown locations. The one-way fare is $10; round-trip fare is $15. You can purchase tickets near gate 13 in the baggage claim area. The shuttle runs about every 25 minutes starting at 5:30 a.m. from the airport and 5:55 a.m. from the hotel until at least 10 p.m. The last run from the airport is after 10 p.m. Arriving by Car: A map to the Marriott Pavilion Hotel can be found at the bottom of this page.
